The hotel was pleasant, clean and in a good location. We arrived late at night, but were greeted by a friendly and helpful clerk at the front desk. We were also impressed by the young man working in the bar Saturday evening. He was very polite, friendly and professional.

spacious family room, proximity to bird park which has a huge playground for the children. the hotel restaurant serves good food at very resonable prices.
there was a kitchenette in our room with cutleries, kettle, fridge,& sink. A microwave would have made it perfect, especially for heating up food for young children.

The access to the Avifauna Bird Park added a unique experience, especially enjoying the evening ambiance on the bar terrace while listening to the tropical birds.

Excellent hotel; the bird park was truly amazing and we had a lot of fun in the morning while there were still no children and only few visitors; breakfast was great
Wifi was insanely expensive; we had a park-side room - the birds wake up early and make a lot of noise...

The hotel and room were very clean and the staff were very helpful.
I thought the lighting in the bar area could have been brighter. It is too dark and provides for a gloomy atmosphere.

Our triple room was clean, light and spacious. There was free parking which was easy. The restaurant was good, with friendly and agreeable staff. It was about 40 minutes drive by car from the centre of Amsterdam. The adjoining bird park was free added to the attraction of the location which otherwise had very little to offer.
It may be useful to know that the accommodation was separate from the reception and the restaurant. It was a short walk across to both of them but this was not a problem for us.

Nice breakfast terrace overlooking the bird park made for a pleasant morning. Spacious room offered a decent amount of comfort, especially for a quick getaway.
Water pressure in the bathroom disappoints if you're looking for a powerful shower. Many tree-covered parking spots lead to potential droppings on your vehicle, less than ideal. Some rooms lack air-conditioning. Beds are decent, but sound from the adjacent bird park can ruin your sleep when they start their morning routine.

A basic hotel which served a purpose of passing through for one night. It was clean but very outdated and a little noisy in our room because of the lift being located besides our room (room 313). The restaurant was nice and had a good choice for breakfast which was an extra 8 Euro's each. Worth it. Not a hotel I would book again albeit it was OK.
It felt worn out and needed updating. I would imagine in the summer it would be full of children due to the bird and fun park? Not for older persons.

Had a really nice stay for two nights, glad I've chosen it. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was reasonably large. Truly enjoyed delightful views and wake-up service, available when you need it.

The hotel offers generous free parking and a beautifully maintained bird park which enhances the experience. The restaurant serves delicious food at reasonable prices, though room service can be tricky with a limited menu. The bathrooms could use some updating, but the staff is very accommodating.

As a single traveller they were very freindly especially in the restaurant. The rooms were nice and although on a main road you felt you were more in the country with the bird sanctuary next door

Is it hype or the real deal?
The reception staff were friendly and helpful,, and the bar service was really good. Meals were plentiful and delicious. Free entry to the bird park added a good touch!
While the room was comfortable,, the noise from the bird park made it difficult to sleep. The lack of air conditioning was also uncomfortable, especially during warmer nights.
